Together using LED lighting on this ship, we aim to create an energy-efficient carrier."¹ Energy-efficient indeed. The Nichioh Maru, nicknamed "Roro," has the ability to save more than 1,300 tons of fuel per year. Nissan engineers have been working diligently on the seafaring car carrier for the past four years and intend to produce several more.
